Do you need serious low end control while working with limited floor space to accomplish typical corner mounting, yet want something that gives a professional look? Our engineers are proud to introduce the GIK Soffit Trap.

The Soffit Trap, like all of the GIK bass traps, was lab tested at the prestigious Riverbank Acoustics Laboratory and the results were amazing. The Soffit Trap is designed and built to professional standards to have true effects at 50 Hz and below. It is over 50% more effective from 50Hz to 100Hz than even our best selling bass trap, the GIK Tri Trap. The Soffit Trap has been effectively designed to absorb more low end; but also does an excellent job of absorbing the high end, creating smooth sound absorption from 50 Hz to 5000 Hz. Installing our Soffit Traps will help balance the room response and decay times.

In a 10x12 room, you can have close to 70 square feet of 413mm thick absorption and not take up one inch of floor space.  The Soffit Trap mounts in the wall to ceiling intersection and comes with 2 keyhole slots making for a quick, clean, easy, and professional-looking installation. Alternately, they can also be stacked in wall to wall corners using the same mounting method or free standing. The GIK Soffit Trap comes standard at 122cm but can be customized in smaller lengths to finish off corner areas. Please note that whilst the Soffit trap does come equipped with the keyhole slots it does not come with any hardware for mounting purposes.
